Zhang Ming–The death of the Wenling doctor [at the hands of another doctor’s patient] was a tragedy. It couldn’t have been prevented, even if the government had provided protection for the doctor—patients need to be more rational and introspective. Doctors and patients are supposed to be on the same side, fighting against disease. They should form an alliance to try and change the unreasonable healthcare system, rather than blaming one another and treating each other like enemies. (Posted Oct. 31, 2013)
